~India’s largest fertility treatments chain adds its 7th technologically driven centre in Madhya Pradesh~
March xx, 2022, Sagar: India’s largest fertility treatments chain, Indira IVF, has opened its doors to aspiring parents in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. With this, the organisation renowned for its high success rate and patient centricity, inaugurated its 7th centre in the state, and is the 106th centre in the country. Apart from Sagar, it is present in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ratlam and Ujjain; all these centres put together have empowered 1109 couples achieve their dreams of parenthood in the state last year. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr V. K. khare, Regional Join Director, Health Services, Sagar and Dr. Amar Karia, Centre Head Bhopal.
Indira IVF has helped 1,00,000 couples conceive in the past decade. Crested by its state-of-the-art technology and driven by a slew of medical experts and IVF specialists, the organisation has notched exceptional success rates for its procedures. It has invested in the latest assisted reproductive technology including electronic witnessing systems, closed working chambers, microfluidics, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning – assuring couples around the country and in Madhya Pradesh of the best treatment options available.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kshitiz Murdia – CEO & Co-Founder of Indira IVF said, “As per data, 10-15 per cent of couples in India face complications with fertility. Ever since the inception of Indira IVF, we have been on a continuous journey of providing assistance to couples for their infertility treatment. We understand the toll that childlessness can have on a couple’s mental health and we are determined to provide its solution under one roof without further burdening them financially or mentally.”
“The latest National Family Health Survey has found that the total fertility rate (TFR) in India has dropped below the replacement level of 2 children per woman for the first time. In Madhya Pradesh, the TFR has dropped to 2.0 in 2020-21 compared to 2.3 in 2015-16. Some of this can be traced to trends such as increased number of people with hypertension, high blood glucose levels, and consumption of tobacco in the state; Sagar lists high on these indicators compared to the rest of the state. This can pose as a hindrance to fertility. We are happy to open our centre in Sagar and extend our support to couples in Madhya Pradesh who want to grow their family,” Dr Murdia added.
In India, the broad awareness pertaining to fertility treatments is fairly limited and women are made to bear the brunt of the discrimination, mostly for not being able to conceive. One out of six couples find it difficult to have children and it is important to understand that it can be due to constitutive conditions in men/women or in both the partners in certain cases. Assisted reproductive technology provides bespoke solutions to both men and women, supporting them throughout on their journey to parenthood. Cutting edge developments in technological such as that utilised and harnessed by Indira IVF has aided many couples conceive during the first cycle of treatment.
Elaborating on the IVF process, Dr. Rani Srivastava, Indira IVF, Sagar Centre Head said, “When a couple visits us for the first time, they are counselled about the various options and results before beginning IVF treatment. Following that, both partners are tested to determine the cause of infertility and design a treatment strategy. It is not only couples who aspire to have children that can be helped with assisted reproductive technology, but also individuals who wish to have children few years later when they are ready. Such individuals can choose to freeze their eggs or sperms early on in their lives at our centre.”
Armed with state-of-the-art infrastructure, Indira IVF handholds countless couples helping them navigate the often-complicated journey of infertility and ultimately realise their dream of starting a family altogether. Simultaneously, it also provides counselling and offers facilities for egg and sperm freezing, a boon for several young men and women who choose to delay family planning until they are in their early forties.
