Introducing 5S Initiative

As we progress in our journey to improve patient experience and operational efficiency, one of the basic prerequisites is an organized workplace.

The Kaizen methodology of 5S is a tool that adopts a systematic approach to workplace organization. It is a way of organizing and managing the workspace and workflow with the intent to improve efficiency by eliminating waste, improving flow, and reducing process unreasonableness.

We plan to launch the 5S initiative across all centres from the 1st of September 2024.

It will run in the following phases:

1. Training of staff on 5S
2. 2-4 weeks for implementation of each phase of 5S
3. Awards for the best centres in 5S implementation in each phase

The floor coordinator shall be the SPOC for 5S implementation at the centres who will work with all staff in implementation.

Rakesh Bansal shall be the SPOC centrally who shall conduct the training and guide throughout the process.
